However, the rising number of tourists has created massive amounts of plastic waste, posing a major threat to the local environment. In order to restore the natural beauty of the island, divers, innkeepers, shopkeepers and other residents are working together to turn the tide. We follow the efforts of a small island that has initiated a number of novel projects in pursuit of zero plastic waste.
